Getting Around
Exploring Mustique island is all part of the adventure.
Here on this 1,400-acre island, every beach, restaurant, activity and bar is only minutes away by mule (the mechanical kind). All villas come equipped with these easy-to-drive, four-seater, souped-up golf carts — the perfect vehicle for the island’s paved and unpaved roads.
Mules
Mule drivers must be at least 17 years of age and hold a local Vincentian driver’s permit (which it can be purchased at Mustique Airport by anyone holding a valid international driver’s license on arrival). There is an island-wide speed limit of 20 miles-per-hour. Guests at the Cotton House and Firefly can rent mules by the hour, day or week.
Mustique Mechanical Services rent two, four and six seater Kawasaki mules by the day. Also available for rent are Electric two and four seater GEM cars and a selection of automatic jeeps.
Bicycles
Need exercise? Mountain bikes are available at many of the Villas and the Cotton House. You can also rent bicycles from Mustique Mechanical Services prior to arrival or once on island.
