Richard has been the Head Professional on the island since 1998. An English National with an international background, he has been playing tennis for 27 years, while involved in teaching for the last 15.

On the sidelines assisting Richard is Deron Grant, a Vincentian National who ranked No. 1 in the country for three years. Having played professionaly for two years he played for his country at the Pan American games and Davis Cup. Deron now runs all of the school programs in St Vincent.

With him Kirk Dasilva, also a Vincentian National, will be assisting the tennis club temporarily before resuming play in the tennis circuit. Kirks highest ranking as a Junior is 600.


Six flood lit tennis courts at the Tennis Club, four Omni (Astroturf) and two Laycold (hard court). The courts are available for use by guests from sunrise until 8:30 pm daily.


Courts may be reserved by phoning the operator on 8000 and giving the name of your villa. Only one court may be reserved at a time. The tennis courts are complimentary for villa owners, villa guests and hotel guests.


It is very important to call if there is a cancellation so that the court may be offered to other parties.


In the last five years, a tennis shop has been built above the tennis courts. A full range of products is offered for every tennis player’s need, from grips to balls, shoes, tennis attire and racquets.We offer racquet stringing. Racquet rentals are also available. $10 per day fee.


Private lessons are available by advance appointment. Lessons must be booked directly with Richard.

Junior Camps are held during Christmas, Easter and Summer - Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 9am for ages 6-13
The Tots Camp for ages 3-5 is held at 8am Monday, Wednesday and Friday.


For ages 4-5 our munchkin camps are help at 8 am Monday, Wednesday and Friday. $20 a child.


Offered three times a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) afternoons at 4:00 pm for one hour. TennisErcise is a mixture of exercise movements and tennis combined to give the maximum physical benefit. $20 per one hour session.


During the season the place to be is at the tennis courts, Every Sunday afternoon from 4-6 pm, A Mixed Doubles social Round Robin is held, an opportunity to meet other island guests.


During Christmas, Easter, and summer holidays, every Friday morning a Junior Tournament is held for the children from 9am to 12pm please contact Richard for details and times
