Mustique Company is responsible for a conservation area 1,000 feet offshore. With a tropical climate
and mangrove forests, hardwood hammocks provide important habitats for a number of frogs, crabs, lizards and iguanas. The temperature fluctuates ever so slightly through the year, averaging 80°F. There are many charted nature trail walks to explore the island, giving one the opportunity to see first hand much of the flora and fauna and animal life. Snorkeling and scuba diving in the clear, warm waters around the island bring to life a magical world of fish feeding among the vibrant coral reef. Jet skis and spear guns are not permitted.

A short film documenting the beaches, wildlife and fauna of Mustique.

Mustique residents and guests are kept informed of Environmental initiatives and issues through seasonal newsletters.
