Equestrian Centre
Horses have been in Mustique since the early 70s. Initially the horses came from Saint Lucia for some of the island residents own personal pleasure. Discovering the excellent riding terrain and wonderful potential the stables began offering rides and instruction to island guests in the early 90s. Today our Equestrian Center holds 10 horses and 3 ponies suitable for any riding level, in a beautiful facility complete with dressage arena, lovely shaded pastures, stables, classroom and a retirement sanctuary.Head Equestrian Manager, Liz Saint BHSAI (British Horse Society) and her team of instructors and guides offer a high level of instruction and a full range of services from hour-long lessons and to treks up into the hills and through the surf on L’Ansecoy Beach. During school holidays, the Center runs Pony Camps for children as young as 3 years.
