The iconic Basil's Bar
Basil’s Bar is legendary. For nearly fifty years it has been the cultural heartbeat of Mustique where generations of homeowners, guests, fisherman and pirates have come to let their hair down.
Offering laidback beach bar dining overlooking one of the most recognisable spots on island; Britannia Bay, Basil’s welcomes you with open arms for a delicious lunch overlooking the sea, a beer at the bar as the sun sets or a cocktail in between dances at Jump Up.

Sunset SessionsSunday evenings are an opportunity for the whole family to head down to Basil's, have a drink while you watch one of Mustique's famous sunsets, enjoy the live music and have some dinner.
Mustique Blues FestivalEvery January some of the world's best blues musicians descend on Mustique for two weeks of sensational music all in aid of the Basil Charles Educational Foundation. If you haven't been, you have to try it!
Art BasilEvery August the island joins together to produce as much art as it can, including an annual mural. Then in one glorious evening at Basil's the art is auctioned off to raise money for Basil's Art & Music - a foundation to support the creative arts in St. Vincent.
The Beach Café
The Beach Café sits at one end of the picturesque Endeavour Bay, home to many a long lunch where the rosé flows and the gentle breeze cools to the sound of waves lapping the beach.

The Beach Café is also host to a number of culinary evening events throughout the week including an informal pizza party to soak up Friday night’s Happy Hour and a Half, and the week’s highlight, Cook on the Sand, where the Beach Café chefs delight guests with slow cooked pork, wrapped in banana leaves and buried in the sand over hot coals. Served on the beach, under the stars.
Inspired by the West Indies, the Veranda’s evening menu has been created to take you on a voyage of classic and contemporary dishes using house rubs and delicately spiced marinades.

Great Room Bar
The Great Room Bar is one of the island’s gathering points. Home to numerous Mustique parties over the years, it is the perfect place to mingle and catch up on island news.
The building was designed by renowned architect Oliver Messel, one of the legendary personalities who left their mark on Mustique.
Celebrated for its extensive cocktail menu, one of the largest collections of native rums in the Caribbean, and an impressive range of cigars, it is the social hub of the hotel turning into a popular after-dinner meeting place for all island guests.
The villas offer a multitude of dining settings from poolside cabanas to grand dining rooms and candlelit terraces for dining under the stars.
Household staff provide a personal service so if you prefer a late brunch, the children need an early evening supper, or you decide to throw a party for other island guests it can easily be arranged.
The island chefs pride themselves on their native cuisine, but many are professionally trained in other cultures too and love to showcase their skills, from Oriental to European, and beyond.
Once you have booked your villa your Reservations Agent will contact you to discuss your food and wine preferences and will follow up with provisioning forms to help plan your stay.
Wines and spirits are pre-ordered and delivered to your villa prior to arrival. If you need to restock at any point this can be arranged through the island’s local grocery store.
No trip to Mustique is complete without a beach picnic.There are a number of picnic sites, some with barbecue grills, located around the island which are perfect for lunches, dinners and private parties.
Adorned with flowers and bunting each villa has a signature style. Don’t be surprised if you are invited to join other picnic parties, it’s a great way to meet other islanders and experience the island’s hospitality.
Complimentary picnic sites are available on Lagoon, Obsidian, Pasture Bay and Macaroni beaches for use by homeowners, villas and hotel guests.
