The iconic Basil's Bar
Basil’s Bar is legendary. For nearly fifty years it has been the cultural heartbeat of Mustique where generations of homeowners, guests, fisherman and pirates have come to let their hair down.

Offering laidback beach bar dining overlooking one of the most recognisable spots on island; Britannia Bay, Basil’s welcomes you with open arms for a delicious lunch overlooking the sea, a beer at the bar as the sun sets or a cocktail in between dances at Jump Up.

The Beach Café is also host to a number of culinary evening events throughout the week including an informal pizza party to soak up Friday night’s Happy Hour and a Half, and the week’s highlight, Cook on the Sand, where the Beach Café chefs delight guests with slow cooked pork, wrapped in banana leaves and buried in the sand over hot coals. Served on the beach, under the stars.
